On the 28th November 2019, Uponor UK and PR agency Refresh PR were presented with a Construction Marketing Award to recognise the success of its high rise construction campaign. Fighting off stiff competition, Uponor UK won the best low budget campaign and achieved nominations in the following categories:
• Strategic planning and marketing
• Best use of PR
• Best low budget campaign- WINNER
The Construction Marketing Awards take place annually at the Hilton London Bankside and aim to recognise creativity and effective marketing campaigns in the construction industry. It is sponsored by the Chartered Institute of Marketing, the professional body for marketing in the United Kingdom.
Uponor UK High Rise Construction Campaign
Insights were captured using a questionnaire, which was distributed to over 250 M&E contractors, architects and contractors. The findings from this research were discussed at a “round-table” event held at the Shard, in London with prominent M&E companies.
Working with Refresh PR, Uponor created a whitepaper from this research that shed light on the above challenges and provided an expert opinion on how they could be resolved. This piece of work was then shared with prominent publications in the construction industry and was posted on the Uponor UK website behind a data capture form.
To date, the whitepaper has played a significant role in helping Uponor gain awareness from key targets in the construction industry and was used as a tool to help secure a project with a leading UK M&E contractor.
